Breaking Free Tid Bit

For the past two Sunday morning s from 9 until 9:45, Zory Klinger has been teaching us in our Breaking Free class. I just want to tell you how much I am getting out of this class!

The information she says in one breath is enough to last me a week of searching the scriptures and talking to the Lord. Tracy and I are writing as fast as we can just so we don't miss any of the wisdom that is pouring from Zory.

This past week, Zory spoke to us about the structures the Lord has set up and how we can make sure that all of these structures are build on a secure foundation. She spoke about marriage, children, church, employers and posessions.

I especially tapped into the parent/ child relationship when she read Ecclesiates 9:17: "The words of the wise heard in quietness are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools."This totally hit home because I often yell at my kids. Yes, I do. Zory reminded us that our kids rarely listen when we yell, so if we would like them to change a behavior, we should speak softly and wisely. Yup. This is my challenge for the week. If you see me, ask me how I'm doing. :)
